There are more apps out there than anyone can shake a stick at. And as a result, there have been some that simply didn’t make the grade. Not because they weren’t desired or wanted, but rather, offended some or cause trouble.
Apps that didn't make the cut
Here is a short list of such apps:
PostSecret. Great app. Millions of users. Just too much PrOn and violence for Apple et al.
Drivers license app. Making a fake drivers license isn’t the kind of thing Apple wanted to be a part of. Shocking.
Match.com app. Apple said they used ‘skirting’ and were not honest with users.
Tethering app Apple said it would burden their network. Even after approving it to begin with.
Appvault app. The developers actually asked that it be pulled. Oh well. Was a nice sync app.
Google voice. Pulled from the Apple istore as they said it continually crashed.
